Is there a rule of thumb as to how large an access database can get before if becomes unstable?  Basically, I am using an access database right now, and would like to know if there is a point in time where I really need to look at a SQL server?

Thanks to all.

MS Access is not really designed for multi-user, high performance applications. If you have email traffic that is higher than a few thousands emails/day, and/or you database size is approaching 1GB in size, we strongly recommend you upgrade to either MySQL or MS SQL.
